Singapore “Kampung Senang Foundation” Vegetarian Foods explore worldwide

The Kampung Senang Charity & Education Foundation (Kampung Senang) with Auspicious World in Taipei, Taiwan and promoting the physical and mental health education centre jointly introducing Buddhist Vegetarian Foods for Singaporeans. Last June 17, 2018 they were organized under the theme of “Green & Healthy Festival – 2018” a meaningful one day seminar at Singapore EXCO premises. As the result of that seminar and requesting of most people, Kampung Senang Foundation organized their next step that how to pray before the meals & how taking vegetarian meals.

On August 21, 2018 in the evening starting the 03 day program at the Kampung Senang Charity & Education Foundation headquarters premises under the patronage by Madam Joyce Lye, the President & Founder of Kampung Senang Charity & Education Foundation (Kampung Senang) and Most Venerable Bhiksuni Yang Ding, The Founder of Auspicious World in Taipei, Taiwan and promoting the physical and mental health education & Ms. Tan Hwa Yoong Adalyn, Principal Consultant, Executive Director of SBMS.

More people attended the inaugural session of the program and first day program based on training for chefs on how to use plant base protein to create yummy and nutritious dishes. Second day & third day planned to training for house helpers, daddy and mummy on how to use plant base protein to prepare green and healthy meal for the whole family. She wishes to influence more meat eaters to eat less meat, so as to protect the mother Earth and her children from suffering.

Nowadays most of the people are in the world turn over to the vegetarian foods. It is the one part of global culture and people are thinking it is time to promote nutritious and healthy vegetarian food with the help of their mental power. As part of the event, the program focused on Plant-Based and protein innovative food products, food security and sustainability with technology, innovation and new business models as enablers. The gathering’s objective is to drive innovation in the food, food security and sustainability space, explore and showcase new opportunities across these ecosystems and provide the platform for grassroots to senior level dialogue.
